Bandai: Entry Grade Strike Rouge - Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (1/144)

The Entry Grade Strike Rouge from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED combines excellent articulation, stability, and ease of assembly in a compact 1/144 scale. Designed especially for beginners, this kit offers a smooth and satisfying building experience without sacrificing quality — a hallmark of Bandai’s Entry Grade series.
The head sits on a dual ball-jointed neck and can fully swivel and tilt. The torso moves forward, backward, and side to side, while the shoulders swing forward for enhanced articulation. The elbows bend up to 110°, and the knees are double-jointed for natural posing. The ankles tilt for balance, and the front and side skirt armor pieces move independently to avoid interference during posing. Every joint is designed for fluid, expressive motion while maintaining solid stability.
Weapons & Features:
The Strike Rouge can wield its Beam Rifle in either hand, and the shield attaches to either forearm (default position: left). This model is also compatible with several upgrade sets, including the Aile Striker, Launcher Striker, and Sword Striker packs from the HG SEED or Option Parts series. These compatibility options allow builders to expand and customize their Strike Rouge for different combat configurations.
Tips & Tricks:
For best results, panel lining with Gundam Markers and applying a topcoat finish (such as from Mr. Hobby) is recommended to enhance details and protect decals. While the kit is advertised as tool-free, using nippers ensures cleaner cuts when removing parts from the runners. Over time, the C-clip joints at elbows and knees may loosen; applying thin layers of super glue to reinforce them can help — use caution and avoid excess application.
