Your Journey Begins Here
As a first-year student, you'll initially wear the standardized university uniform before choosing one of the five mystical colleges after your first year. Each college assigns you two mentors – one for each mana color – to guide you on your path. Whether you study in the Biblioplex, compete in the legendary Mage Tower at Strixhaven Stadium, or one day join the elite Dragonsguard – your destiny is in your hands!
The Five Colleges
Each college combines two opposing mana colors and represents a unique magical philosophy
Silverquill
Masters of eloquence and the written word. With pitch-black ink as their weapon, they weave magical verses that inspire or destroy. The fastest combat magic of all colleges – because words can be spoken in fractions of a second.
Prismari
Artists, performers, and passionate elemental mages. They create spectacular artworks from raw elemental energy – fire, water, ice, and storm become living art. All the world's a stage.
Witherbloom
Natural scientists and guardians of the life cycle. In the swamps of Sedgemoor, they brew powerful potions, summon swamp creatures, and master the essence of life and death. Herbology meets necromancy.
Lorehold
Archaeologists and history keepers. They bring the past to life by summoning spirits of legendary heroes and drawing wisdom from ancient ruins. History becomes literally alive.
Quandrix
Mathematicians and natural philosophers. They decipher the fundamental formulas of reality and create fractal creatures from pure mathematics. With numbers, they shape nature itself – and can recite Pi backwards.

Center of Magical Knowledge
The campus stretches across the horizon – an intricate tangle of gleaming towers and flattened rooftops. At its center rises the monumental Biblioplex, the massive domed library that preserves the knowledge of the entire Multiverse.
Above the Biblioplex floats the majestic Dawnbow – a massive arch of jagged, floating stones. From here, the five legendary Torches of Enlightenment radiate over a hundred miles into the landscape, symbolizing the eternal path to enlightenment.
Each of the five colleges has its own campus with unique architecture: From Lorehold's cliff-carved Pillardrop to Prismari's Conjurot Hall to Witherbloom's swampy Widdershins Hall.
