Rough Iron is part of The Army Painter's Warpaints Air Metallics series, offering a rich deep brown metallic sheen. Thanks to the unique Colour Triad System, this paint can be seamlessly coordinated with matching Warpaints Acrylics Base and Highlight colours, simplifying highlights and zenithal shading, making army painting quicker and more cohesive.
Made from ultra-filtered vibrant pigments, this paint delivers excellent opacity and consistent coverage. The proprietary formulation with aluminium flakes and mica ensures a stunning metallic shine and reduces the number of layers needed for full coverage.
Additional Information
The Warpaints Air range is airbrush-ready straight from the bottle and comes with two steel mixing balls for consistent pigment blending. It is also suitable for brush application, although more coats may be required. The paint is water-based, non-toxic, and conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards, making it a safe choice for hobbyists.
